The KBA is excited to announce The Life Fundamental$ Money Management Seminars series developed by the Kentucky Council on Economic Education (KCEE).

This seminar series “Surviving Tough Times” was developed to meet the urgent need for adult financial education across our Commonwealth. The recession may have officially ended, but many Kentuckians are still struggling to dig their way out of the financial consequences.

The seminar materials are ideal for presentations to your banking customers, civic, social, and other community groups.

Life Fundamental$ “Surviving Tough Times” 2-hour seminar modules include:

  • Budgeting to Make Ends Meet
  • Credit: There’s No Such Thing As A Free Lunch
  • ID Theft: Don’t Be A Victim

The seminars are interactive and engaging as they introduce the importance of financial wellness and the need for individuals to take responsibility for their overall financial health.

This seminar series “Surviving Tough Times” is being made available to Kentucky banks in a 4-CD format for $299.00. This includes a CD for each seminar, which includes the Instructor’s Guide, accompanying PowerPoint presentation, participant books and handouts. It also include a marketing CD with a flyer and brochure that can be customized with your bank name and logo.

The profits from the sale of these CD-series will benefit the Kentucky Council on Economic Education, supporting their teacher training and classroom materials they distribute across the state to Kentucky schools.

The Kentucky Council on Economic Education (KCEE), is a 36-year-old statewide, not-for-profit organization. KCEE provides teachers with professional development in teaching economics, personal finance, and entrepreneurship education and provides them with classroom materials, from kindergarten through college.
