Southeast Kentucky Economic Development Corp. (SKED) provides SBA 504 loans (second-lien) throughout the state of Kentucky, allowing lenders to finance 50% of a qualifying project while obtaining a first lien on all assets. SKED is also a non-profit economic development organization providing or participating in small business loans (including second lien loans) within a 45-county region in Southeast Kentucky – focusing on customers unable to meet the underwriting standards of traditional lenders due to start-up or expansion needs.
