WHAT IS THE KENTUCKY BANKERS RELIEF FUND?
The Kentucky Bankers Relief Fund was established in 2005, in response to Hurricane Katrina, to help communities in need after natural disasters. These funds are needed now more than ever in light of the recent tornados that have hit a number of Kentucky communities hard.
These devastated regions of the state need assistance now, and will need help well into the coming months. Donating to this fund will show your support for the communities in Kentucky, including its bank employees, who often are the ones who ignore their own needs to help their communities first.
DETAILS ABOUT THE RELIEF FUND
- Each dollar received into the fund will be used for direct assistance. No administration fees will be taken out by the KBA.
- The KBA will help to coordinate the assistance to banks impacted by the recent tornados, starting with bank employees and their communities.
- The KBA will consult and work through the banks in the impacted areas to make sure the funds are distributed effectively.
- The KBA will take direction from our local banks to distribute financial assistance from any remaining funds.
