Despite the proliferation of crypto currencies and crypto assets globally, the regulatory community has yet to implement a common set of rules and standards. Jim Fuchs will discuss some of the research that is driving many of the conversations on the future regulatory structure for crypto asset firms, stablecoin issuers and other financial products and services built on blockchain infrastructure and offered through decentralized communities.

Jim Fuchs is a vice president at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, overseeing the operations of the bank’s Applications, Credit, Reserves, Statistics, Business Line Training Services, Competitive Analysis, Digital Transformation Consulting, Supervision Policy, Research and Analysis, and Supervision Outreach units. He also oversees national outreach programs for community bankers and is a member of several Federal Reserve System workgroups focused on community banking issues. Fuchs received his MBA from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and his Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Air Force Academy. He is also a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.

Jeff has more than 22 years of experience in the financial services and technology sectors including hands on experience originating and underwriting loans, SAAS fintech B2B sales and corporate training. Before joining Black Knight, Jeff served as a National Enterprise Software Sales Engineer. Jeff is a member of nearly a dozen local and national professional organizations that help the industry including memberships with MBA, MBAC, VA MBA, TN MBA, MMLA, PA Bankers, KY Bankers, NC Bankers and local Fintech Chapters. Jeff was recently nominated to the Board of the Charlotte Regional Mortgage Lender's Association for 2022-2023. Education Alliance Cancellation Policy
Substitutions are always welcome and encouraged. All cancellations and substitutions request must be submitted in writing prior to the event.

KBA Seminar Registrations can cancel 30 days prior to the event date and receive a full refund. Cancellations received between 29 days and 10 days prior to the event will be charged a $50 processing fee. There will be no refund for cancellations received less than 10 days prior to the event.

KBA Schools Applicants can withdraw from a KBA School 10 days prior to the 1st day of the school for a refund minus a $150 cancellation fee. There is no refund if an applicant withdraws after the deadline or if applicant fails to attend the school, with the exception of extenuating circumstances. Due to commitments and expenses we cannot reverse, such as: handouts, food, beverages, room rentals, speaker fees, etc.; even extenuating circumstances will require partial refunds because of these expenses.
