Retention Strategies for Today's Market

This presentation will discuss the issues that companies are experiencing in retaining top talent in the current labor market. Not only is our labor market at an all time low, but we also have an ever changing workforce with the retirement of Baby Boomers and emergence of Gen Ys and Gen Zs. It's critical more than ever to focus on retaining our staff first. Retention has a direct effect on recruitment efforts. In this session, we will share tools to use to monitor your current workforce as well as techniques to help your retention managing techniques, learning and development, compensation and benefits analysis, and Corporate Social Responsibility.

Compensation Trends and Best Practices in Today’s Banking Environment

We explore current trends in total compensation for bank executives, officers, and staff. We focus on the key elements that make up the total compensation package: base salaries, annual incentives, long-term incentives, benefits and perquisites. The session provides an educational overview of various compensation elements, focusing on current trends/best practices within community and regional banks; and it includes findings from BCG surveys.

Performance-Based Compensation Strategies for Banks

This presentation focuses on performance-based compensation approaches that community and regional banks should consider to attract and retain quality officers. We examine the current compensation environment and discuss different performance-based incentive vehicles. We discuss the keys to effective and motivating cash incentive plans and will share what banks are using in respect to equity-based/longer-term incentives. This session incorporates applicable regulatory guidelines and updates surrounding incentive-based pay. Market data from our BCG surveys and databases will be incorporated throughout. A best practice scorecard can be incorporated.

Effective Recruitment Strategies During a Labor Shortage

This presentation will review tactics and strategies to consider implementing for a higher recruiting success rate. The market has changed since the pandemic began, and there are ways to improve your company's success in finding and hiring talent. Topics reviewed will include recruitment best practices, Diversity Equity & Inclusion efforts, job posting strategies, referral policies and processes, and metric tracking recommendations.

There will be no refund for cancellations received less than 10 days prior to the event. Substitutions are always welcome and encouraged.
